Mwangaza Limpopo Solar is planned as a phased, scalable portfolio. Phase 1, Mwangaza Sekhukhune Solar PV 1, is a 132 MW Solar PV + 100 MWh BESS project that establishes the platform for future expansions and long-term power delivery in the region.

Mwangaza Limpopo Solar is being developed in collaboration with the Limpopo Economic Development Agency (LEDA) and the Coega Development Corporation. The objective is to anchor the project in the province’s development priorities and support practical local outcomes, including enterprise opportunities, jobs and skills development, as the project progresses.
