Chief Executive
Lucky is a renewable energy entrepreneur driving Africa’s energy transition through large-scale, community-focused projects. With two decades of experience across renewable energy, engineering and infrastructure, he combines technical expertise with a systems-level approach to deliver measurable societal and economic impact.
As co-founder of Mwangaza Energy International he leads initiatives that embed community co-ownership and equitable benefit-sharing into infrastructure projects, currently developing a 3+ GW solar pipeline across Africa designed to deliver long-term economic and social benefits. Lucky’s philosophy is simple: build systems that work reliably, empower communities and scale sustainably, turning infrastructure into a platform for lasting local value.

Gionata is accountable for the operational performance of a 2,500 MW+ African power portfolio across 6 countries as Chief Operating Officer of Globeleq, including generation, construction oversight, O&M governance and asset performance under DFI shareholder standards. Prior operational leadership at ContourGlobal (VP and COO Africa) and industrial power roles at Wärtsilä and Caterpillar

George is a seasoned Chartered Accountant & MBA, 20+ years post-qualifying experience as CFO & Group Finance Director in Real Estate, IT/Media, Logistics & Engineering. He holds directorship at Fractional CFO & part-time associate partner of Adan Corporate Finance in London.

Retselisitsoe is an experienced professional director and operations leader with over a decade of leadership experience across project management, operations and general management roles. She is a resourceful problem-solver skilled in stakeholder management, quality control and compliance.
Retselisitsoe has expertise in the construction, mining and energy sectors, including overseeing large-scale projects, managing teams and driving process improvements. She holds an MBA from GIBS Business School and professional certifications in directorship and decision-making. Retselisitsoe is passionate about continuous professional development and leveraging her multitasking abilities to enhance organizational performance.
